$62,000 Nine week site deployment project opportunity for one of our MSP Referral Partners!

Overview

One of the largest clients of Print Partner’s parent company, Green Office Partner, is expanding their national footprint, and we need your help getting the job done!

At the request of our client’s in-house IT department, we have agreed to assist with deploying twenty new medical offices around the country. We are reaching out to our MSP Referral Partners to see if they would be interested in helping us with the work. I know it’s crazy that this client asked US (their managed print vendor) to help but we have such a strong relationship with them: This client loves the work we do for them and trusts that we can help. We can.

Here’s the scoop: We are committed to help our client get preconfigured equipment (computers, access points, televisions, printers, firewall) set up at twenty new offices across the country over a nine week period of time, and each week will require a minimum of ONE and up to FOUR skilled laborers to meet schedule requirements. This project will not require a strong level of engineering. A level 1 tech would be great, but the resource must be able to help us triage any issues that come up.

Each site visit is scheduled to take ONE WEEK. Twenty site visits over nine weeks. Payment is per week, not per hour.

We (Green Office Partner) will be taking direction on how the work will be completed from the client. Our service manager will be leading the charge for our team and contractors. He runs a very tight ship and will surely set the deployment team up to succeed.

We have included all factors that will hopefully make it clear to you if this is a project you can tackle and make a good profit doing.

Training for all four deployment resources is scheduled to begin in August (one week of paid training) and then formal deployments begin in September. Planned term of engagement is nine weeks, inclusive of one week of training. Hourly rate is $65 for 40 hours per week. Transportation and lodging not included. Assuming this project requires the expected nine full weeks, your MSP would earn $62k for this work.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years related experience, with certified training and service experience required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Superior time management skills and reliability are essential qualifications for this role. Our customers are counting on you. You must be punctual and professional and have the ability to arrive at scheduled appointments on time. If you are unable to make scheduled appointments, communicate and work directly with the customer to adjust the scheduled appointment.
  • Strong Mechanical ability.
  • Ability to properly troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and document product/system issues.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods of time, pull, lift, squat, reach, bend, and stoop to equipment, parts, and supplies. This is an extremely active position that requires walking, standing, squatting, bending, and driving for over 50% of the workday.
  • Ability to work independently and travel within an assigned region.
  • Valid driver’s license, appropriate insurance coverage, and clean driving history. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is included in our technician background check
